Drainage system for pumping grey water into the sanitary water tank
In boats that do not have a natural drain from the shower tray or sink to the grey water tank, the grey water evacuation system takes care of this function.
On many boats, it is impossible to achieve a natural flow of water from the shower tray or sink to the holding tank . In these cases, the grey water evacuation system is the solution. It consists of a watertight housing with a discharge pump and an automatic float switch. The pump produces a very low noise level. A non-return valve is installed in the discharge line. The bottom of the assembly must be at least 6 cm below the shower tray or sink. The holding tank can be located up to 4 m above the unit or up to 20 m away from it. Instead of pumping the waste water into the holding tank, it can also be discharged directly overboard. If the system becomes clogged, the housing cover can be easily removed to clear the blockage.

The sanitary tank can be located a maximum of 4 m above the unit or up to 20 m away from it. The bottom of the unit must be placed at least 6 m below the shower tray or washbasin.
